Tour 2025

At Burton Rugby Football Club it is a tradition for the under 16’s age group to tour in what is the team’s final season together as an age group. This year it is the turn of the boys who were born in 2009 / 2010.

Tour Venue

The chosen tour venue is Parma in Italy. Parma is a charming city in northern Italy, nestled in the Emilia-Romagna region between Milan and Bologna. It's known for its elegant architecture, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant university atmosphere. Parma is especially famous for its culinary contributions—Parmesan cheese (Parmigiano Reggiano) and Prosciutto di Parma both originate. The city also boasts stunning landmarks like the Romanesque Parma Cathedral and the pink marble Baptistery, and it’s a hub for classical music and opera, with deep ties to composers like Verdi

Strong Tour Party

A tour party of 63 players and parents will fly into Milan at the end of October before a coach transfer to the centre of Parma which will be the base for the next 4 days. Two games are scheduled against two local clubs, along with a training Session at Amatori Rugby, home of Amatori Rugby & Zebre Rugby. Training Session will be led by professional coaches from Zebre Rugby. Go Karting, post match functions and team meals at carefully selected local restaurants are all planned which will ensure everyone has a favoloso tour!
