Defeat away at Moseley but a much better performance

The Burton under 16's boys travelled to Billesley Common to take on Moseley in what is always a close and hard fought contest. 

This lived up to expectations and was a bruising and physical encounter where both sides gave everything. Moseley would edge the encounter by 3 tries to 2.

It was a shame Burton did not have its normally reliable kicking points on as it would have been interesting to have seen if Burton could have pushed for a victory in the closing moments if it had been just a one score game.

Nonetheless, the players and coaches can take a lot of positives out of the game and this was a much improved performance than the previous week.

Next week its the start of the Staffordshire County cup defence and a home league game against Wolverhampton.
